Customer Requirement:

A local Refrigeration &qamp; Air Conditioning company contacted the specialist chiller rental provider - Carrier Rental Systems with an urgent request for emergency chiller rental. They needed a solution quickly as the process had stopped due to a failure on a 15 year old Airedale R22 Chiller; the replacement chiller would be at least 12 weeks away and with the company not able to test, it would result in lost revenue.

Bespoke Rental Package:

The local account manager was on site within 2 hours of the customer call, the requirements were assessed and CRS's solution was to provide a 100kw Chiller with an internal coil in tank heat exchanger, fluid pump, 2" flexible pipe work, system adaptors and a 10 metre power cable.

Rapid Response from Carrier Rental Systems:

A quotation was provided whilst on site, agreed with the customer and the package was delivered via a HIAB lorry and then plant moved into position at 07:30 the following day. It was then installed, tested and commissioned by 11:30 – less than 20 hours after the initial customer call.
